Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, De Wellense Pottestampers's Freddy Haeselaers got a free kick in the 13th minute. Freddy Haeselaers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by De Wellense Pottestampers's Freddy Haeselaers. But to his dismay, Freddy Haeselaers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Richard Van der Voert made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by De Wellense Pottestampers's Garry Reynders. In the 30th minute, Miguel Rondou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Wellense Pottestampers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Freddy Haeselaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Radowit Pliszka made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Bertrand Leemans sent off a good shot on target. Radowit Pliszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem Verheijden, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Fighters Against Cancer were furious when Thobias Gijsbrechts was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Fighters Against Cancer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of De Wellense Pottestampers:s goal. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for De Wellense Pottestampers. Garry Reynders stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven. 0-3. After the first half De Wellense Pottestampers were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertrand Leemans to make the kick off. Bertrand Leemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christofere Vandommele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bertrand Leemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Pliszka having to interfere. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Suárez's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddy Haeselaers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. Fighters Against Cancer's Bertrand Leemans got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertrand Leemans struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Radowit Pliszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fighters Against Cancer. In the 76th minute, Willem-Jan Minnen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when De Wellense Pottestampers's Miguel Rondou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Matías Suárez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Rondou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of De Wellense Pottestampers booed when Fighters Against Cancer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertrand Leemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, De Wellense Pottestampers's Willem-Jan Minnen got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 96th minute, Garry Reynders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Stanny Tkint shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radowit Pliszka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
