Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 153) 5 minutes into the game, Baltazar da Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franky Langendonck. Baltazar da Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Deportivo La Corona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Baltazar da Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Franky Langendonck, making the score, 2-0. Sporting Lokeren's Remy Bergcreutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Van Leempoel in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bjorn Omblets kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franky Langendonck. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. With a little luck, Deportivo La Corona's Franky Langendonck got control of the ball when Cederique Van Hoght tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franky Langendonck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylvan Theys in the 35th minute. Bjorn Omblets was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 40th play minutes Sylvan Theys shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Franky Langendonck and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Sporting Lokeren's Jakob Humbelets got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Vuerinx to strike the kick off in the second half. Martijn Ourogge hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Sylvan Theys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franky Langendonck having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Sylvan Theys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Franky Langendonck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 minutes of play, Sporting Lokeren's Bjorn Omblets made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franky Langendonck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bjorn Omblets scored 9-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franky Langendonck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Remy Bergcreutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Goons, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 83rd match minute, Deportivo La Corona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Goons to maneuver through the defense. Franky Langendonck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjorn Omblets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bjorn Omblets scored 10-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franky Langendonck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 minutes, Sylvan Theys made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo La Corona's Franky Langendonck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Sylvan Theys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Lokeren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0.
