Corneel Reiniers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Caers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in De Salonsupporters's zone, Abdulmelik Yiğitkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bram Neys came out of the goal and Abdulmelik Yiğitkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corneel Reiniers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brent Bernaerts in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Yanniek Lissens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneel Reiniers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De Salonsupporters's Jeremey Van Goolen got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brent Bernaerts got free with Corneel Reiniers in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Abdulmelik Yiğitkan came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the But Anderlecht AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulmelik Yiğitkan couldn't finish the play. Benedict Van Hautvin hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute Kai-Uwe Mierzwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Neys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
