Kaiser defense, Brent Bernaerts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Clijsters. The F.C. Kaiser fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Clijsters should have stopped the shot. Brent Bernaerts might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Clijsters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brent Bernaerts ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Brent Bernaerts made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Clijsters. F.C. Kaiser's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Brent Bernaerts scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Clijsters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Brent Bernaerts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Clijsters was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. De Salonsupporters's Frederic Humbelets was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Clijsters in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Brent Bernaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Clijsters having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niki Scheerens in the 29th minute of play forced De Salonsupporters's goalkeeper Bram Neys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. Kaiser's Tomas Clijsters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Bernaerts in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, De Salonsupporters's Lukas Caers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Clijsters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 37th minute, Luckas Oliviers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Salonsupporters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 40 minutes into the match, F.C. Kaiser's goal looked a bit too open when Luckas Oliviers came free, but Tomas Clijsters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brent Bernaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Caers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tomas Clijsters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Rafael Salms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Clijsters was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niki Scheerens was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, F.C. Kaiser's Tomas Clijsters got control of the ball when Brent Bernaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, De Salonsupporters's Brent Bernaerts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Clijsters. Tomas Clijsters yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. With a little luck, F.C. Kaiser's Tomas Clijsters got control of the ball when Frederic Humbelets tried to sneak it across the goal line. The De Salonsupporters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. 86 minutes into the match, F.C. Kaiser's goalkeeper Tomas Clijsters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brent Bernaerts. A collision led to F.C. Kaiser getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Daevy Inglebert hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Yanniek Lissens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Salonsupporters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yanniek Lissens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brent Bernaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Clijsters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
