He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huppelende Begijntjes FC reached it. If Joppe Volens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, one of Huppelende Begijntjes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute Joppe Volens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Koninckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Richard Bernaers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huppelende Begijntjes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo La Corona the free kick. Richard Bernaers kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Huppelende Begijntjes FC defense, Joppe Volens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Koninckx. The Huppelende Begijntjes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Koninckx should have stopped the shot. Ludwig Clement received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maxime Smolders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luukas Wegers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Koninckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richmond Denturck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Koninckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joppe Volens, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sven Koninckx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joppe Volens in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Martial De Meesemaeckere could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Maxime Smolders however easily saved by the left post. The Huppelende Begijntjes FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo La Corona were winning 0-2.

53 minutes into the match, Martial De Meesemaeckere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Smolders. Deportivo La Corona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martial De Meesemaeckere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Deportivo La Corona's Anton Terhorst got a free kick in the 58th minute. Diederik Brabant came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven Koninckx could save by the left post. Maxime Smolders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Clement in the 65th minute of play. Martial De Meesemaeckere took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Smolders. Maxime Smolders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Horemans in the 71st minute of play forced Huppelende Begijntjes FC's goalkeeper Sven Koninckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Deportivo La Corona's Sven Koninckx threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joppe Volens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute, Ludwig Clement made a precise shot to the right of Maxime Smolders. Deportivo La Corona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. A collision led to Huppelende Begijntjes FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bram De Vos hit a great ball.
