The crowd rose to their feet as Sergio Vissenaeken kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franck Van Haechten. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Elias Koenens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quentin De Keyser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xander-Paul Gallot in the 31st minute of play. If Elias Koenens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xander-Paul Gallot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dworp's zone, Sergio Vissenaeken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franck Van Haechten came out of the goal and Sergio Vissenaeken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Vissenaeken struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Franck Van Haechten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GoeBezig Vilvoorde. Greg De Wulf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franck Van Haechten having to interfere.

In the 52nd minute, Greg De Wulf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoeBezig Vilvoorde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sergio Vissenaeken took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franck Van Haechten. Franck Van Haechten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Greg De Wulf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoeBezig Vilvoorde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A collision led to GoeBezig Vilvoorde getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Florian Humblets hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, GoeBezig Vilvoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Xander-Paul Gallot came free, but Quentin De Keyser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Koenens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Sergio Vissenaeken came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the GoeBezig Vilvoorde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Vissenaeken couldn't finish the play. Franck Van Haechten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Greg De Wulf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Franck Van Haechten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franck Van Haechten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg De Wulf in the 92nd minute of play. Dworp's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
