When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rens Laurent sped through GoeBezig Vilvoorde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quentin De Keyser. Quentin De Keyser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boudewijn Decoster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Boudewijn Decoster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin De Keyser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quentin De Keyser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rens Laurent in the 22nd minute of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Sergio Vissenaeken from a close distance when the talented Otoniel Mondragon managed to make a qualified save. Kaysersheim's players were relieved. 26 minutes into the match, Boudewijn Decoster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quentin De Keyser. GoeBezig Vilvoorde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boudewijn Decoster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Quentin De Keyser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Decoster in the 30th minute of play. Stijn De Schepper kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Boudewijn Decoster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otoniel Mondragon made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Sergio Vissenaeken sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Rens Laurent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quentin De Keyser was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. GoeBezig Vilvoorde's Quentin De Keyser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rens Laurent in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Vissenaeken to make the kick off. Otoniel Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg De Wulf, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Rens Laurent took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Quentin De Keyser to make any attempt to save it. Quentin De Keyser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boudewijn Decoster's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Bertrand Eekhout's late challenge caught a Kaysersheim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertrand Eekhout helped the player get up and apologised. Bertrand Eekhout hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kaysersheim booed when GoeBezig Vilvoorde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Humblets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quentin De Keyser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Decoster in the 61st minute of play. Bertrand Eekhout was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 63 played minutes GoeBezig Vilvoorde got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Eekhout. Boudewijn Decoster had several of the GoeBezig Vilvoorde's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Quentin De Keyser as he didn't even see the shot coming. Boudewijn Decoster received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Quentin De Keyser came out and tried to block the shot, but Boudewijn Decoster slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Rens Laurent put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Quentin De Keyser. Greg De Wulf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Otoniel Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Rens Laurent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quentin De Keyser was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. When the final whistle sounded Kaysersheim left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GoeBezig Vilvoorde.
