The audience was convinced that Rens Laurent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Castermans was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 0-2 became the score in the 19th minute when Boudewijn Decoster elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in DogTeam's zone, Boudewijn Decoster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Castermans came out of the goal and Boudewijn Decoster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boudewijn Decoster in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Castermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kaysersheim's Rens Laurent in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DogTeam's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the DogTeam defense, Boudewijn Decoster kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Castermans. The DogTeam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Castermans should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radamel-Falcao García stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kaysersheim's Rens Laurent got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danny Castermans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Danny Castermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam-Lucas Mertens, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rens Laurent got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 69th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Boudewijn Decoster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rens Laurents short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Danny Castermans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rens Laurent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Danny Castermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kaysersheim getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Boudewijn Decoster hit a great ball. The Kaysersheim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kaysersheim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
