Timy De Mesemacre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Vissenaeken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. If Greg De Wulf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sergio Vissenaeken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timy De Mesemacre was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When Greg De Wulf came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the GoeBezig Vilvoorde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Greg De Wulf couldn't finish the play. Cederik Koppen charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cederik Koppen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes FC Luys got a freekick which was hit by Cederik Koppen. GoeBezig Vilvoorde were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Luys for a fine match.
