In the 17th minute Yves Van Dijcke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Leininger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Focquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier den Pelsmaeker in the 20th minute of the match. When Samuel Van de Goor came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Little Bunnies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Van de Goor couldn't finish the play. De Karotte's Nils Focquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander-Paul Le Page in the 30th minute of play. Sander Weets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, De Karotte's Nils Focquier got control of the ball when Xander-Paul Le Page tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Edwin Luijten fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Karotte's protests and gave Edwin Luijten a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Little Bunnies booed when De Karotte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Luijten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart-Jan Nilis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alain Postens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nils Focquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bart-Jan Nilis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dirk Marant stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Little Bunnies's Samuel Van de Goor got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Little Bunnies's Bart-Jan Nilis in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye De Karotte's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th match minute, De Karotte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Van Dijcke to maneuver through the defense. Bart-Jan Nilis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Little Bunnies's Roger Leininger got control of the ball when Sander Weets tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Leininger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Luijten in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of De Karotte booed when Little Bunnies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argyris Vardis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sander Weets could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Roger Leininger made a huge save. Bart-Jan Nilis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Focquier having to interfere. Xander-Paul Le Page sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the De Karotte defense, Alain Postens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Focquier. The De Karotte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Focquier should have stopped the shot. Nils Focquier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart-Jan Nilis, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Little Bunnies had played much better football throughout.
