Spectators: 7990 (Terracing: 5994, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ryan Shamp started the match with the kick off. Timy De Mesemacre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Koenens went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute Elias Koenens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timy De Mesemacre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Shamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Franck Van Haechten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Xander-Paul Gallot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Luys's Timy De Mesemacre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Dworp were awarded a corner. Paulus De Keuster went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Paulus De Keuster almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Luys's Timy De Mesemacre did a great save. After 16 minutes, Jules Hemelaers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Luys and the Dworp players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timy De Mesemacre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Koenens in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xander-Paul Gallot in the 19th minute of play forced FC Luys's goalkeeper Timy De Mesemacre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Koenens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dworp's Elias Koenens got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timy De Mesemacre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xander-Paul Gallot in the 34th minute of the match. When Xander-Paul Gallot, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Timy De Mesemacre was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Koenens in the 35th minute of play forced FC Luys's goalkeeper Timy De Mesemacre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Luys's Timy De Mesemacre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander-Paul Gallot in the 39th minute of play. Xander-Paul Gallot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timy De Mesemacre having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Xander-Paul Gallot made the kick off in the second half. Dworp's Elias Koenens got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timy De Mesemacre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Koenens in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the game, one of FC Luys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Dworp getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jeremy Van der Goten hit a great ball. Xander-Paul Gallot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timy De Mesemacre having to interfere. Ryan Shamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Luys's Timy De Mesemacre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Luys from getting a goal against them. Xander-Paul Gallot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timy De Mesemacre having to interfere. If Elias Koenens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Ryan Shamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Luys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Shamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elias Koenens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Luys's zone, Xander-Paul Gallot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timy De Mesemacre came out of the goal and Xander-Paul Gallot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dworp's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
