Fenerbahçe SK's David De Kerper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boudewijn Decoster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. David De Kerper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kaysersheim fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Kaysersheim's Rens Laurent looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Rens Laurent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David De Kerper was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Fenerbahçe SK's Ivo Ooms got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arda Güler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Otoniel Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Rens Laurent put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of David De Kerper. 34 minutes into the match, Kaysersheim's goalkeeper Otoniel Mondragon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivo Ooms. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Rens Laurent sped through Fenerbahçe SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David De Kerper. Rens Laurent took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David De Kerper. David De Kerper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rens Laurent was the one to do the kick off. Otoniel Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Ooms in the 54th minute of the match. Boudewijn Decoster in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David De Kerper, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Fenerbahçe SK booed when Kaysersheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olliver Pelsmaeker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rens Laurent in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David De Kerper, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rens Laurent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David De Kerper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Jorre Van de Gaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boudewijn Decoster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. David De Kerper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Arda Güler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otoniel Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Boudewijn Decoster took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for David De Kerper to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Ooms in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otoniel Mondragon saved Kaysersheim from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boudewijn Decoster in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David De Kerper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David De Kerper made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Rens Laurent sent off a good shot on target. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Kaysersheim. Matijs De Vlaeminck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving David De Kerper. 0-9. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kaysersheim walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
