In the 7th minute of the match Remco Desmet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils Focquier skillfully saved the ball. 11 minutes into the match, DogTeam's Radamel-Falcao García sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Focquier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nils Focquier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radamel-Falcao García's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 17th match minute, De Karotte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Luijten to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Radamel-Falcao García managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DogTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radamel-Falcao García was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils Focquier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Demeyer in the 26th minute of play. Tom Gobeleyns's late challenge caught a DogTeam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Gobeleyns helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to De Karotte getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tom Gobeleyns hit a great ball. When Johny Elssen fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Karotte's protests and gave Johny Elssen a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremey Pauwels walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 35 minutes into the match, De Karotte's goal looked a bit too open when Remco Desmet came free, but Nils Focquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Focquier was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Radamel-Falcao García capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Radamel-Falcao García really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Radamel-Falcao García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DogTeam's Edwin Demeyer got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radamel-Falcao García could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Nils Focquier made a huge save.

Nils Focquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 51st minute of the match. Radamel-Falcao García received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nils Focquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DogTeam's Danny Castermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save DogTeam from getting a goal against them. Edwin Demeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Focquier having to interfere. Edwin Demeyer struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nils Focquier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DogTeam. After a defensive mix-up in De Karotte's zone, Edwin Demeyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Focquier came out of the goal and Edwin Demeyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radamel-Falcao García scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Focquier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nils Focquier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Radamel-Falcao García managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DogTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radamel-Falcao García was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Radamel-Falcao García ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Focquier was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Radamel-Falcao García struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Nils Focquier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DogTeam. Thanks to some nice moves Sander Weets could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Danny Castermans however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, De Karotte's Danny Castermans threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dirk Marant, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edwin Demeyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DogTeam had played much better football throughout.
