The supporters of Little Bunnies booed when FC Luys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jules Hemelaers didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Xander-Paul Le Page quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 21st minute, Alain Postens made a precise shot to the right of Timy De Mesemacre. FC Luys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ken Heijligen kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Timy De Mesemacre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xander-Paul Le Page in the 26th minute of the match. Roger Leininger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Shamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Philip Van Latem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timy De Mesemacre. That made the score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. Xander-Paul Le Page sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timy De Mesemacre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Xander-Paul Le Page came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Little Bunnies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xander-Paul Le Page couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Philip Van Latem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timy De Mesemacre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
