Matthew Switten kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Leon Imberechts got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Murray Hägert lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Timy De Mesemacre. When Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Atak Zor in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Luys's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Murray Hägert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Timy De Mesemacre. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Murray Hägert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Timy De Mesemacre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Murray Hägert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Murray Hägert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Luys getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ryan Shamp hit a great ball. FC Luys's Timy De Mesemacre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Luys from getting a goal against them. Timy De Mesemacre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Murray Hägert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. A collision led to FC Luys getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Matthew Switten hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murray Hägert in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timy De Mesemacre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timy De Mesemacre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murray Hägert, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murray Hägert to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murray Hägert in the 51st minute of play forced FC Luys's goalkeeper Timy De Mesemacre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Murray Hägert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timy De Mesemacre was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Murray Hägert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, FC Luys's goal looked a bit too open when Murray Hägert came free, but Timy De Mesemacre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Murray Hägert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Murray Hägert came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Royal Antwerp F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murray Hägert couldn't finish the play. Murray Hägert ran back to his position shaking his head. Ryan Shamp hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Atak Zor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timy De Mesemacre was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 86 minutes into the match, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Murray Hägert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timy De Mesemacre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Murray Hägert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timy De Mesemacre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. The supporters of FC Luys booed when Royal Antwerp F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacq De Weijngaerden didn't get a good kick on the ball.
