Spectators: 7992 (Terracing: 5995, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timy Huijgens started the match with the kick off. Ewout Laureys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonatan Ryers in the 2nd minute of the match. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Wesley De Wever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timy Huijgens in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yoeri Koppens in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley De Wever saved Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin from getting behind. After 7 played minutes Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Van hoegaerde. In the 11th minute Yoeri Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley De Wever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ivan Van hoegaerde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Van hoegaerde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewout Laureys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thobias Leers hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timy Huijgens in the 19th minute of play forced Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's goalkeeper Wesley De Wever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Gertjan Van Boxstael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewout Laureys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin got a corner. KSV Jabbeke's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gertjan Van Boxstael ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gertjan Van Boxstael managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Van Boxstael in the 32nd minute of play forced KSV Jabbeke's goalkeeper Ewout Laureys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KSV Jabbeke were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gert De Meur took the corner. KSV Jabbeke's Gert De Meur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wesley De Wever in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute, Harald Rockloos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley De Wever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoeri Koppens in the 39th minute of play. Harald Rockloos kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Gert De Meur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley De Wever skillfully saved the ball. Gert De Meur's late challenge caught a Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gert De Meur helped the player get up and apologised. Oliver Dejonckheere blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ewout Laureys having to make a save. Gertjan Van Boxstael who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Ewout Laureys when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Gertjan Van Boxstael made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gertjan Van Boxstael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KSV Jabbeke's Ewout Laureys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin booed when KSV Jabbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Koens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Thobias Leers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KSV Jabbeke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin the free kick. In the 60th match minute, KSV Jabbeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thobias Leers to maneuver through the defense. Ewout Laureys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelis Winnepenninckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoeri Koppens got free with Wesley De Wever in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yoeri Koppens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Wesley De Wever made a huge save. Joonatan Ryers scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ewout Laureys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timy Huijgens took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley De Wever. Wesley De Wever dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gertjan Van Boxstael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewout Laureys having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Thobias Leers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wesley De Wever. The goal made the score 2-2. Jeoffrey Dheedene hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The KSV Jabbeke players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
