Joonatan Lembrechts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Werner Hoes made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Frits Pastijns sent off a good shot on target. Steve Van Landschoot came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by VVV Vurige Vossen's Joonatan Lembrechts. But to his dismay, Joonatan Lembrechts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25thth minute of the game Joonatan Lembrechts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antep Saint Germain's Steve Van Landschoot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Giles Suteweij in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by VVV Vurige Vossen's Jules Struyf. In the 30th minute, Antep Saint Germain's Kristof Verdonck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Joonatan Lembrechts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Yannik Van Der Veecken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VVV Vurige Vossen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannik Van Der Veecken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yannik Van Der Veecken took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steve Van Landschoot. Steve Van Landschoot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joonatan Lembrechts to strike the kick off in the second half. Steve Van Landschoot made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Joonatan Lembrechts sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Antep Saint Germain's zone, Yannik Van Der Veecken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steve Van Landschoot came out of the goal and Yannik Van Der Veecken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Antep Saint Germain booed when VVV Vurige Vossen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constant Eijkens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yannik Van Der Veecken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Van Landschoot having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joonatan Lembrechts in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steve Van Landschoot saved Antep Saint Germain from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yannik Van Der Veecken got free with Steve Van Landschoot in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Werner Hoes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristof Verdonck in the 76th minute of the match. If Yannik Van Der Veecken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Van Landschoot made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Joonatan Lembrechts sent off a good shot on target. Yannik Van Der Veecken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Antep Saint Germain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reemy Sanders to maneuver through the defense. The Antep Saint Germain manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing VVV Vurige Vossen to win.
