After a defensive mix-up in Ac meloen's zone, Yoeri Koppens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charl Lijsens came out of the goal and Yoeri Koppens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charl Lijsens made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Yoeri Koppens sent off a good shot on target. Yoeri Koppens struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Charl Lijsens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Jabbeke. Charl Lijsens was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jeoffrey Dheedene. After some careless play in the Ac meloen defense, Yoeri Koppens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charl Lijsens. The Ac meloen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charl Lijsens should have stopped the shot. During the 94th minute of the match Robben Beekman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Robben Beekman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ac meloen getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Robben Beekman hit a great ball. KSV Jabbeke played a much better game than Ac meloen and deserved their victory. The Ac meloen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
