In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Coppenst's goalkeeper Samuel Palolahti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Langemarks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Schockaert to maneuver through the defense. FC Coppenst's Cesinha Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, FC Coppenst's Bryan Adriens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastien Goossens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Bryan Adriens came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Coppenst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Adriens couldn't finish the play. Samuel Palolahti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robrecht Schrevens's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Samuel Palolahti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robrecht Schrevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, FC Coppenst's Cesinha Simão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastien Goossens. Sebastien Goossens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A collision led to FC Coppenst getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Joppe deconinck hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robrecht Schrevens to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robrecht Schrevens in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Palolahti saved FC Coppenst from getting behind. Jarne Elens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Samuel Palolahti made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Luuk De Hoef notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Langemarks's Sebastien Goossens. Sebastien Goossens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, Bryan Adriens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute of the match Pierre Schockaert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Palolahti skillfully saved the ball. Robrecht Schrevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Palolahti having to interfere. Gustaaf Goebelens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Palolahti having to make a save. FC Coppenst's Samuel Palolahti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robrecht Schrevens in the 86th minute of play. FC Coppenst's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
