Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Robrecht Schrevens made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelis Winnepenninckx in the 53rd minute of play forced Langemarks's goalkeeper Sebastien Goossens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastien Goossens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan Van Boxstael in the 56th minute of the match. Langemarks's Sebastien Goossens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gertjan Van Boxstael in the 57th minute of play. If Gustaaf Goebelens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Gertjan Van Boxstael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sebastien Goossens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Langemarks booed when Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richy Van Aertvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robrecht Schrevens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diedrik Vanpevenaeyges short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Wesley De Wever to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 81st minute, Arthur-Maurits Winnepennincx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geordy Maeijnaerts hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Wesley De Wever made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Diedrik Vanpevenaeyge sent off a good shot on target. Ernst Herinckx's late challenge caught a Langemarks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
