A collision led to VVV Vurige Vossen getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Constant Eijkens hit a great ball. In the 5th minute Sammy Waeberghe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Hoes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, VVV Vurige Vossen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romain Van Hoeij to maneuver through the defense. Werner Hoes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Waeberghe in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Axel Stoffels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VVV Vurige Vossen's Werner Hoes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Axel Stoffels came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the LeRoeulx fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Stoffels couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joonatan Lembrechts to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, VVV Vurige Vossen's Romain Van Hoeij got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of LeRoeulx booed when VVV Vurige Vossen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constant Eijkens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Gyselinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VVV Vurige Vossen defense, Nestor Hombroeckx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Werner Hoes. The VVV Vurige Vossen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Werner Hoes should have stopped the shot. Yannik Van Der Veecken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederic Calstermans having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind VVV Vurige Vossen's goalkeeper Werner Hoes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. VVV Vurige Vossen's Werner Hoes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Stoffels in the 85th minute of play. Yannik Van Der Veecken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cederic Calstermans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constant Eijkens kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Yannik Van Der Veecken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that LeRoeulx were the better team. LeRoeulx's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
