Spectators: 7916 (Terracing: 5967, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 120) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Giles Ceustermans started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Ac meloen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robben Beekman to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Matthieu Van Boxstael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of LeRoeulx booed when Ac meloen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurens De Coninck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sammy Waeberghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charl Lijsens having to interfere. Charl Lijsens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Hombroeckx in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Ac meloen getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Robben Beekman hit a great ball. Axel Stoffels took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charl Lijsens. Charl Lijsens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 31 minutes into the game, Nestor Hombroeckx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Charl Lijsens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Axel Stoffels managed to get in a good position for a shot. LeRoeulx's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Stoffels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charl Lijsens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charl Lijsens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Hombroeckx in the 35th minute of play. Charl Lijsens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Stoffels in the 36th minute of play. Nestor Hombroeckx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charl Lijsens having to make a save. The LeRoeulx fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when LeRoeulx's Nestor Hombroeckx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Axel Stoffels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charl Lijsens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Hombroeckx in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half LeRoeulx were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Stoffels was the one to do the kick off. Charl Lijsens made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Nestor Hombroeckx sent off a good shot on target. Axel Stoffels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charl Lijsens having to interfere. If Nestor Hombroeckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Nestor Hombroeckx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charl Lijsens. Nestor Hombroeckx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Ac meloen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Nestor Hombroeckx scored to the left of an out of position Charl Lijsens, making the score, 0-5. With his leg Charl Lijsens managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when LeRoeulx's Steve Stuijckens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Hombroeckx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charl Lijsens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Charl Lijsens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Waeberghe in the 68th minute of play. If Axel Stoffels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Michael Roussel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charl Lijsens. Michael Roussel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Charl Lijsens was a little too slow when Nestor Hombroeckx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 82nd minute, Ac meloen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nestor Hombroeckx fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nestor Hombroeckx made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 83rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Charl Lijsens would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Nestor Hombroeckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Hombroeckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Charl Lijsens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Stoffels kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charl Lijsens. That made the score 0-8 in the 94 minute of play. LeRoeulx's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
