Gertjan Van Boxstael showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Axel Stoffels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Wesley De Wever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Tibau Van dooren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Axel Stoffels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley De Wever was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Wesley De Wever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Waeberghe in the 27th minute of the match. Richy Van Aertvin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Michael Roussel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley De Wever showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sammy Waeberghe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley De Wever having to interfere. Richy Van Aertvin charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richy Van Aertvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. LeRoeulx's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Roussel in the 37th minute. Michael Roussel made a great header on LeRoeulx's corner, it was just that Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Wesley De Wever managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, LeRoeulx's Sammy Waeberghe got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cederic Calstermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Van Clynenbreugel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Axel Stoffels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sammy Waeberghe might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wesley De Wever. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sammy Waeberghe ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernst Herinckx in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cederic Calstermans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gertjan Van Boxstael to make the kick off. Cederic Calstermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gertjan Van Boxstael in the 56th minute of the match. Wesley De Wever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Stoffels in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute LeRoeulx were awarded a corner. Michael Roussel went to the cornerflag to take it. Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Nestor Hombroeckx scored to the left of an out of position Wesley De Wever, making the score, 1-2. Wesley De Wever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Hombroeckx in the 65th minute of play. When Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Gertjan Van Boxstael in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LeRoeulx's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Oliver Dejonckheere got a free kick in the 75th minute. 82 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin's Gertjan Van Boxstael fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Cederic Calstermans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gertjan Van Boxstael's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Teun Volle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LeRoeulx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin the free kick. Gertjan Van Boxstael's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Cederic Calstermans on his right side and into the goal. 89 minutes into the game it was 3-2. A collision led to Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tibau Van dooren hit a great ball. The Vlaamse Voetbal Verenigin players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
