Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Werner Hoes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Werner Hoes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, VVV Vurige Vossen's Joonatan Lembrechts made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Palolahti was left in no man's land by his defense there! But to his dismay, Bryan Adriens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. A collision led to FC Coppenst getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bryan Adriens hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, VVV Vurige Vossen's Vicente Gyselinckx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Palolahti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VVV Vurige Vossen reached it. After 95 minutes, Constant Eijkens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VVV Vurige Vossen and the FC Coppenst players grew even worse after the yellow card.
