Deadly Force United's Robbin Van Leemputte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Wyns in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Vercruysse came free, but Jorre Vercouteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Deadly Force United got a freekick which was hit by Cederik Morreels. Robbin Van Leemputte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Wyns in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute AFC Madzuly were awarded a corner. Gustav Rousseau went to the cornerflag to take it. Diedrik Everaerts made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC Madzuly's Cesar Raniers. When AFC Madzuly's Walter Wyns in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Wyns got free with Robbin Van Leemputte in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorre Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Walter Wyns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robbin Van Leemputte having to make a save. Robbin Van Leemputte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Wyns in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Wyns in the 46th minute of play forced Deadly Force United's goalkeeper Robbin Van Leemputte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Deadly Force United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jorre Vercouteren came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deadly Force United's Alessandro Ceci. But to his dismay, Alessandro Ceci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Deadly Force United's Alessandro Ceci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorre Vercouteren. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stein Dhondt during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Diedrik Everaerts in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC Madzuly's Klaas Van Achter. AFC Madzuly's Jorre Vercouteren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Madzuly from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Deadly Force United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC Madzuly throughout the match.
