In the 10thth minute of the game Noel Iven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAMPFSCHWEINEN's Peter Jonckers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Excelsior Mullem's Cedric Vuerinckx in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Iven in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Jonckers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marten De Smet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedric Vuerinckx scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Jonckers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 minutes, Frans Westelinx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAMPFSCHWEINEN and the Excelsior Mullem players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KAMPFSCHWEINEN getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Frans Westelinx hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cedric Vuerinckx was the one to do the kick off. Roel Van Leemputte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeroen Van Goitsenhoven in the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Noel Iven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Jonckers was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of Excelsior Mullem booed when KAMPFSCHWEINEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Westelinx didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Jonckers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jeroen Van Goitsenhoven came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the KAMPFSCHWEINEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeroen Van Goitsenhoven couldn't finish the play. Roel Van Leemputte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Petermans, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, KAMPFSCHWEINEN's Peter Jonckers got control of the ball when Cedric Vuerinckx tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, KAMPFSCHWEINEN's goalkeeper Peter Jonckers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cedric Vuerinckx.
