Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Walter Wyns started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Paul-Louis Jenken charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul-Louis Jenken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, VC Walshoutem's Paul-Louis Jenken got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Gustav Rousseau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Leers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stein Dhondt's late challenge caught a VC Walshoutem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stein Dhondt helped the player get up and apologised. Stein Dhondt kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Paul-Louis Jenken hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jorre Vercouteren made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Bastian Spoelberghe sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute Walter Wyns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Leers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bastian Spoelberghe fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Walshoutem's protests and gave Bastian Spoelberghe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AFC Madzuly booed when VC Walshoutem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Spoelberghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Leers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Wyns in the 21st minute of the match. Axel Leers came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Madzuly's Walter Wyns. But to his dismay, Walter Wyns quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Walter Wyns's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Leers was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Amaury Jooris hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goalkeeper Jorre Vercouteren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bastian Spoelberghe. After 37 played minutes AFC Madzuly got a freekick which was hit by Johny De Raeijmaecker. Axel Leers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Wyns in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Walter Wyns managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Madzuly's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Wyns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Leers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Wyns in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Leers saved VC Walshoutem from getting behind. VC Walshoutem's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Walter Wyns 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Stein Dhondt hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Paul-Louis Jenken hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. AFC Madzuly's Walter Wyns got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Walter Wyns ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Leers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Walter Wyns might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Axel Leers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walter Wyns ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, VC Walshoutem's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Wyns came free, but Axel Leers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Leers made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Walter Wyns sent off a good shot on target. Axel Leers was a little too slow when Walter Wyns got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 82nd minute, Paul-Louis Jenken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in VC Walshoutem's zone, Walter Wyns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Leers came out of the goal and Walter Wyns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AFC Madzuly's Jorre Vercouteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Spoelberghe in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded AFC Madzuly left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VC Walshoutem.
