Roger Van Clijnenbreugel came out of the goal and Alessandro Ceci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Deadly Force United's Eric Oosters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Aaron Van Camp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Robbin Van Leemputte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 20 minutes, Alessandro Ceci made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Waulsort's Roger Van Clijnenbreugel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Deadly Force United's Eric Oosters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Van Clijnenbreugel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Reemy Van Bael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Waulsort and the Deadly Force United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robbin Van Leemputte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dyllan Roeland in the 35th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Alessandro Ceci sped through Club Waulsort's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Van Clijnenbreugel. After a defensive mix-up in Club Waulsort's zone, Anier Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Club Waulsort fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Van Clijnenbreugel should have stopped the shot. After the first half Deadly Force United were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eric Oosters made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Club Waulsort booed when Deadly Force United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Oosters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jo Peeters struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deadly Force United. Roger Van Clijnenbreugel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Oosters in the 58th minute of play. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Alessandro Ceci sped through Club Waulsort's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Van Clijnenbreugel. With a little luck, Club Waulsort's Roger Van Clijnenbreugel got control of the ball when Alessandro Ceci tried to sneak it across the goal line.
