Michel Heijlen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Van De Putts in the 7th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Sporting Mambo got a freekick which was hit by Lennart De Clercq. Sporting Mambo's Lucien Scheerens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoff Grootjans in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, FC Woud's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart De Clercq came free, but Michel Heijlen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucien Scheerens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoff Grootjans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucien Scheerens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoff Grootjans, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to FC Woud getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ramon Caers hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, FC Woud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Caers to maneuver through the defense. Lucien Scheerens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bill Daneels in the 38th minute of the match. Sporting Mambo's Lucien Scheerens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoff Grootjans in the 39th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christoff Grootjans to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Mambo's zone, Christoff Grootjans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Scheerens came out of the goal and Christoff Grootjans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Lucien Scheerens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoff Grootjans. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Rik Delcroix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Mambo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rik Delcroix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Heijlen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoff Grootjans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes, Werner Luijten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Woud and the Sporting Mambo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Woud getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Werner Luijten hit a great ball. If Christoff Grootjans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francis Van De Putts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Woud's Ramon Caers got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sporting Mambo were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Woud to leave the ground with a draw.
