Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeffrey Valckeneers got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cederik Lache during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bertan Helsens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jochen Raeijmaeckers's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Cedric Van Achteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Valckeneers in the 12th minute of play. Cederik Lache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Van Achteren having to interfere. In the 19th minute Jeffrey Valckeneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Van Achteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didier Impens hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Willemeau's Jeffrey Valckeneers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Bertan Helsens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jochen Raeijmaeckers's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute, Guust Van der Vorst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cedric Van Achteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Valckeneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Jochen Raeijmaeckers might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bertan Helsens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jochen Raeijmaeckers ran back to his position shaking his head. Bertan Helsens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jochen Raeijmaeckers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cederik Lache kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jochen Raeijmaeckers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jochen Raeijmaeckers to make the kick off. Bertan Helsens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Gielis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cederik Lache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Van Achteren having to interfere. Sporting Club Anderlecht's Cedric Van Achteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stein Schouters in the 66th minute of play. Cedric Van Achteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederik Lache in the 73rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Sporting Club Anderlecht:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Willemeau:s goal. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Willemeau. Alek Salms stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cedric Van Achteren. 2-0. When Sporting Club Anderlecht's Jochen Raeijmaeckers in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 94 minutes, Jochen Raeijmaeckers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Club Anderlecht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jochen Raeijmaeckers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cedric Van Achteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Valckeneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeffrey Valckeneers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Cedric Van Achteren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willemeau's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
