The supporters of SK Westrozebeke booed when RSC Sint-Katelijne-Waver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emile Soetemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bass Van de cauter during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
