Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jacky Wolfdoncx made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the BocaJuniors defense, Jacky Wolfdoncx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathieux Berchmans. The BocaJuniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathieux Berchmans should have stopped the shot. Mathieux Berchmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roben Claessens in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, BocaJuniors's Luc Van Parijs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Schellekens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 15th minute Filip Leerbels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieux Berchmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geetsbeek's Marc Schellekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Van Parijs in the 16th minute of play. Teo Vandenbosch was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes Geetsbeek got a freekick which was hit by Teo Vandenbosch. Jeff Rockloos, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marc Schellekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richmond Swiggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, BocaJuniors's Luc Van Parijs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Schellekens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnauld Baele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mathieux Berchmans made a huge save. Marc Schellekens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc Van Parijs's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Filip Leerbels might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathieux Berchmans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Leerbels ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roben Claessens during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 37 minutes into the game, Stefaan Lefevre threw the ball into play from the sideline. BocaJuniors's Bobby Pannekoek quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roben Claessens in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathieux Berchmans saved BocaJuniors from getting behind. Geetsbeek's Marc Schellekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Van Parijs in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Luc Van Parijs made the kick off in the second half. Gerard Liboton's late challenge caught a Geetsbeek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerard Liboton helped the player get up and apologised. Gerard Liboton hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Kurt Deswarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathieux Berchmans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 53 played minutes BocaJuniors got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Pannekoek. In the 56thth minute of the game Luc Van Parijs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geetsbeek's Marc Schellekens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geetsbeek's Marc Schellekens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Geetsbeek from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Geetsbeek's Marc Schellekens got control of the ball when Richmond Swiggers tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnauld Baele in the 67th minute of play forced BocaJuniors's goalkeeper Mathieux Berchmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathieux Berchmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Baele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Tuur Pluijssens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Schellekens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Liboton in the 75th minute of the match. Jacky Wolfdoncx hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jeff Rockloos struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Marc Schellekens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BocaJuniors. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc Van Parijs in the 81st minute of play forced Geetsbeek's goalkeeper Marc Schellekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Kurt Deswarte with Filip Leerbels as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Geetsbeek's Arnauld Baele got a free kick in the 95th minute.
