Kickers United's Cederik Huts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them. After 37 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Radzyminski. 40 minutes into the game, Kickers United's Dino Maquiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hector De Hertoge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Pieter Fraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector De Hertoge was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Gustaaf Ceustermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Van Bombergen got free with Hector De Hertoge in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Ceustermans came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kickers United played a much better game than ZVK Met Alle Chinezen and deserved their victory. The ZVK Met Alle Chinezen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
