Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnout Winnepenninck kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Borgerhout got a freekick which was hit by William Luyten. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borgerhout's goalkeeper Kobe Switten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Borgerhout getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jorge Van Boxstael hit a great ball. Hector De Hertoge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Fouquet in the 18th minute of play. Borgerhout's Kobe Switten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Winnepenninck in the 23rd minute of play. If Charlie Fouquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes of play, Borgerhout's Daan Van Hoovelt made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector De Hertoge was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Charlie Fouquet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Winnepenninck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Borgerhout's Charlie Fouquet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector De Hertoge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Borgerhout were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 58 minutes, Arnout Winnepenninck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnout Winnepenninck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Winnepenninck scored 2-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kobe Switten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerrit den Pelsmaeker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kobe Switten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daan Van Hoovelt in the 76th minute of play forced ZVK Met Alle Chinezen's goalkeeper Hector De Hertoge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Lucien Goebelens sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Borgerhout's Kobe Switten didn't even have to move. Gerrit den Pelsmaeker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerrit den Pelsmaeker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kobe Switten having to interfere. After 84 played minutes ZVK Met Alle Chinezen got a freekick which was hit by Lucien Goebelens. 85 minutes into the match, Borgerhout's Robben Vrijdag broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Charlie Fouquet took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector De Hertoge. Hector De Hertoge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After 90 played minutes Borgerhout got a freekick which was hit by Birger Antheunis. 93 minutes into the match, Borgerhout's goal looked a bit too open when Arnout Winnepenninck came free, but Kobe Switten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
