The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthonio Soetemans got free with Wart Keldermans in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Achilles Hendricks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Meeuwissen having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthias Van Der Elst in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wart Keldermans saved De Matoekoes from getting behind. Fredrik Meeuwissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achilles Koninkx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Van Der Elsts short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Wart Keldermans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jacobus Elzen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Wart Keldermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natan Schol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Natan Schol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Meeuwissen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achilles Koninkx, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 34th match minute, De Matoekoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobus Elzen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Zandvoorde booed when De Matoekoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Diependaele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wart Keldermans came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zandvoorde's Matthias Van Der Elst. But to his dismay, Matthias Van Der Elst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 55th minute, Brent-Jan De Coster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wart Keldermans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthonio Soetemans in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, De Matoekoes's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Van Der Elst came free, but Wart Keldermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Achilles Hendricks made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Meeuwissen. FC Zandvoorde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
