If Achilles Koninkx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toon De Middeleer came out of the goal and Brent-Jan De Coster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wart Keldermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Ioannidis in the 72nd minute of play. Giannis Ioannidis came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wart Keldermans could save by the left post. Nicolaas Versluys's late challenge caught a FC Flat Beat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolaas Versluys helped the player get up and apologised. FC Flat Beat made a substitution. Ruud Van Langhendoncx replaced Tran Hendricks.
