In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Tongrinne's goalkeeper Jarne Van Hinnendaels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Thomas-Jan Wuets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Tongrinne's Jarne Van Hinnendaels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Titan Atletic's Jacques Verhengen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarne Van Hinnendaels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laurens Goegebeur was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enzo Bormans. A collision led to Titan Atletic getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jacques Verhengen hit a great ball. Thomas-Jan Wuets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
