Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kristen Van Den Bosch made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Leopold Teurfs notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Brugse Boeren's Henri Van De Ven. Henri Van De Ven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 8 minutes into the match, Brugse Boeren's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Ivens came free, but Henri Van De Ven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brugse Boeren's Henri Van De Ven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristen Van Den Bosch in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Wayne Pelegrims hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopold Teurfs's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henri Van De Ven firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ewout De Meulder having to make a save. Leopold Teurfs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Henri Van De Ven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristen Van Den Bosch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henri Van De Ven came out and tried to block the shot, but Kristen Van Den Bosch slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. Henri Van De Ven came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's Kristen Van Den Bosch. But to his dismay, Kristen Van Den Bosch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Sérgio Profesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Brugse Boeren's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Van Den Bosch came free, but Henri Van De Ven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri Van De Ven was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Leopold Teurfs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leopold Teurfs really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. 46 minutes into the match, Brugse Boeren's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Van Den Bosch came free, but Henri Van De Ven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Sérgio Profesor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Ewout De Meulder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sérgio Profesor made a kick off. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Teurfs in the 54th minute of play forced Brugse Boeren's goalkeeper Henri Van De Ven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sérgio Profesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugse Boeren's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Profesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewout De Meulder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Schroons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ewout De Meulder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koen Mol in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ewout De Meulder saved Club Brugge from getting behind. Henri Van De Ven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris-George Verdonk, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt scored 4-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ewout De Meulder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rd minute, Sérgio Profesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brugse Boeren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. In the 75th minute, Nicky Zimmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Sérgio Profesor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ewout De Meulder skillfully saved the ball. Leopold Teurfs hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Wayne Pelegrims hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Teurfs in the 89th minute of play forced Brugse Boeren's goalkeeper Henri Van De Ven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ewout De Meulder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Brugse Boeren players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
