Binjamin Van Landschoot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarne Van Hinnendaels having to interfere. In the 5th minute Orville Darling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarne Van Hinnendaels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarne Van Hinnendaels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelipe Sauca in the 11th minute of play. The Nieuwpoort Club fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Nieuwpoort Club's Orville Darling looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Zelipe Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orville Darling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarne Van Hinnendaels having to interfere. Jarne Van Hinnendaels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orville Darling in the 29th minute of the match. Roben De Putter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luuk Van Beringen having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Corneel Toussain took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Luuk Van Beringen to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Orville Darling put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jarne Van Hinnendaels. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orville Darling in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarne Van Hinnendaels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nieuwpoort Club's Orville Darling managed to work through KV Tongrinne's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Orville Darling dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jarne Van Hinnendaels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orville Darling, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Zelipe Sauca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarne Van Hinnendaels. KV Tongrinne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zelipe Sauca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the game, Zelipe Sauca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jarne Van Hinnendaels. Zelipe Sauca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brecht Van De Putts during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KV Tongrinne getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Brecht Van De Putts hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Jerry Van Gheel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelipe Sauca in the 63rd minute of play forced KV Tongrinne's goalkeeper Jarne Van Hinnendaels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarne Van Hinnendaels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orville Darling in the 64th minute of play. Orville Darling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jarne Van Hinnendaels made a huge save. Radoslaw Jastrowicz's late challenge caught a KV Tongrinne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radoslaw Jastrowicz helped the player get up and apologised. Radoslaw Jastrowicz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Orville Darling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jarne Van Hinnendaels made a huge save. Lenny Van der Borght hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jarne Van Hinnendaels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orville Darling went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Nieuwpoort Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KV Tongrinne.
