In the 11th minute, Boudewijn Dewinter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thomas-Jan Wuets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boudewijn Dewinter during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Dewinter to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Van der Meiren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Titan Atletic's Ryan Verhofstadt made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rens Van Damme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jean Smekens charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Smekens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Smekens to maneuver through the defense. Thomas-Jan Wuets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van Damme having to interfere. In the 36th minute Thomas-Jan Wuets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rens Van Damme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Philip van Hagenborgh fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea's protests and gave Philip van Hagenborgh a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chelsea getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Philip van Hagenborgh hit a great ball. Rens Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qwinten Braeckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea's goalkeeper Rens Van Damme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goalkeeper Rens Van Damme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas-Jan Wuets. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Thomas-Jan Wuets got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 63rd minute, Qwinten Braeckman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rens Van Damme, passed just outside the right post. Chelsea's Rens Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten Braeckman in the 64th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Stan Smeulders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Titan Atletic's Laurens Goegebeur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas-Jan Wuets might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rens Van Damme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas-Jan Wuets ran back to his position shaking his head. Rens Van Damme made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Thomas-Jan Wuets sent off a good shot on target. Laurens Goegebeur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boudewijn Dewinter, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 80th minute, Qwinten Braeckman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 85 minutes into the match, Thomas-Jan Wuets notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Chelsea's Rens Van Damme. Rens Van Damme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thomas-Jan Wuets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas-Jan Wuets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rens Van Damme having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Philip van Hagenborgh got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th match minute, Titan Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Van der Meiren to maneuver through the defense. Laurens Goegebeur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip van Hagenborgh, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Titan Atletic's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
