If Niel De Vos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Pieter Franckx in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylven De Coster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Casper De kaiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Scheppers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joey Scheppers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper De kaiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Maarten Daniels struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Joey Scheppers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schaerbeek F.C. Sylven De Coster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Pieter Franckx in the 19th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Maarten Daniels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sylven De Coster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niel De Vos in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Fred Van Der Veecken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Jan-Pieter Franckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joey Scheppers made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Maarten Daniels sent off a good shot on target. Gill Van Hoovelt charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gill Van Hoovelt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Schaerbeek F.C's Gill Van Hoovelt got a free kick in the 39th minute. Maarten Daniels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Scheppers having to interfere. If Jan-Pieter Franckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schaerbeek F.C's goalkeeper Sylven De Coster, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Pieter Franckx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sylven De Coster having to make a save.

A collision led to Schaerbeek F.C getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jorre Van den Ende hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Jan-Pieter Franckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maarten Daniels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Joey Scheppers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jonas en de Walvis II booed when Schaerbeek F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Van Der Veecken didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Jonas en de Walvis II's Jan-Pieter Franckx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylven De Coster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maarten Daniels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinard Sustens hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Jan-Pieter Franckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 played minutes Jonas en de Walvis II got a freekick which was hit by Reinard Sustens. Jonas en de Walvis II's Niel De Vos got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylven De Coster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Pieter Franckx's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Fred Van Der Veecken's late challenge caught a Jonas en de Walvis II's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Van Der Veecken helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Schaerbeek F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Van Der Veecken to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
