Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Spartak Lier's Remy Jannes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matias Meersman during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matias Meersman hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jeremie Holemans charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremie Holemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Spartak Lier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremie Holemans to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Profesor in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Domala saved Spartak Lier from getting behind. Jeremie Holemans got his second yellow card in the match during the 6th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Lucjan Domala made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Brugse Boeren's Lucjan Domala threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Koen Mol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucjan Domala made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Rafael Van Hoeyvelt sent off a good shot on target. Spartak Lier's Remy Jannes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wout Rompen, made in the 18th minute of the game. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucjan Domala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Spartak Lier's Lucjan Domala got control of the ball when Wayne Pelegrims tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Wayne Pelegrims dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucjan Domala, 2-0. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Sérgio Profesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Domala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Kempeneers hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remy Jannes during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Spartak Lier got a freekick which was hit by Remy Jannes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Profesor in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Domala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucjan Domala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koen Mol in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Sérgio Profesor made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Wayne Pelegrims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Domala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Wout Rompen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brugse Boeren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartak Lier the free kick. Wout Rompen hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Spartak Lier's Lucjan Domala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koen Mol in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Sérgio Profesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Domala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spartak Lier's Lucjan Domala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Van Hoeyvelt in the 62nd minute of play. Koen Mol struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lucjan Domala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugse Boeren. Brugse Boeren's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oliver Kempeneers in the 68th minute. The corner led Brugse Boeren's Joris Aelemans to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucjan Domala despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Pelegrims in the 70th minute of play forced Spartak Lier's goalkeeper Lucjan Domala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 71st minute of the match Matias Meersman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matias Meersman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Sérgio Profesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Pelegrims in the 75th minute of play forced Spartak Lier's goalkeeper Lucjan Domala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Spartak Lier booed when Brugse Boeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koen Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Domala. Lucjan Domala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Spartak Lier's Lucjan Domala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Van Hoeyvelt in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play Spartak Lier's Remy Jannes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Spartak Lier getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Remy Jannes hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Rafael Van Hoeyvelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brugse Boeren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Van Hoeyvelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match, Ludo Verheecke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henri Van De Ven saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
