With his leg Sylven De Coster managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Brugse Boeren's Rafael Van Hoeyvelt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 13 minutes into the match, Brugse Boeren's goal looked a bit too open when Casper De kaiser came free, but Henri Van De Ven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylven De Coster. Sylven De Coster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Koen Mol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sylven De Coster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Sylven De Coster made a huge save. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt scored 3-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sylven De Coster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Casper De kaiser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Van Der Veecken kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Rafael Van Hoeyvelt came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Brugse Boeren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Van Hoeyvelt couldn't finish the play. Henri Van De Ven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarten Daniels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorre Van den Ende during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brugse Boeren's Koen Mol got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylven De Coster came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugse Boeren's Sérgio Profesor. But to his dismay, Sérgio Profesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Sérgio Profesor made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Brugse Boeren's Sérgio Profesor made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylven De Coster was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Sérgio Profesor notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Schaerbeek F.C's Sylven De Coster. Sylven De Coster was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Fred Van Der Veecken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schaerbeek F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 64 minutes into the game, Koen Mol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Sylven De Coster was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafael Van Hoeyvelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Sylven De Coster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Profesor in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Schaerbeek F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sérgio Profesor was slow to take the kick. During this time Brugse Boeren's players had a chance to rest. Brugse Boeren's Sérgio Profesor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sylven De Coster in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 86 minutes into the game, Fred Van Der Veecken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schaerbeek F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brugse Boeren the free kick. A collision led to Schaerbeek F.C getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fred Van Der Veecken hit a great ball. Sylven De Coster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Van Hoeyvelt in the 88th minute of the match. Wayne Pelegrims charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wayne Pelegrims the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brugse Boeren's Wayne Pelegrims got a free kick in the 90th minute. Henri Van De Ven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Van Der Veecken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Schaerbeek F.C's Sylven De Coster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Van Hoeyvelt in the 97th minute of play. After 98 minutes Schaerbeek F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sérgio Profesor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sérgio Profesor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Schaerbeek F.C's Sylven De Coster did a great save. Brugse Boeren's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
