Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Maxim-Alexander Leclerq started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jan-Pieter Franckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibaut Elssen having to interfere. Tibaut Elssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim-Alexander Leclerq in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gery Van der Vorst in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joey Scheppers saved Jonas en de Walvis II from getting behind. Joey Scheppers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bobby Van Eijcke went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Jonas en de Walvis II's zone, Bobby Van Eijcke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joey Scheppers came out of the goal and Bobby Van Eijcke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. V.D.B. Foundation's Tibaut Elssen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save V.D.B. Foundation from getting a goal against them. A collision led to V.D.B. Foundation getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rudy Van Eijcken hit a great ball. Bastian Nys took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tibaut Elssen. V.D.B. Foundation's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Cox to strike the kick off in the second half. Goði Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivan Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Mangelschot charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tibaut Elssen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the game, Maxim-Alexander Leclerq cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. The supporters of V.D.B. Foundation booed when Jonas en de Walvis II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pino Standaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the V.D.B. Foundation defense, Maxim-Alexander Leclerq kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tibaut Elssen. The V.D.B. Foundation fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tibaut Elssen should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Jonas en de Walvis II's Maxim-Alexander Leclerq sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibaut Elssen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. V.D.B. Foundation's Tibaut Elssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim-Alexander Leclerq in the 97th minute of play. V.D.B. Foundation's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
