Spectators: 8142 (Terracing: 6107, Seating: 1873, VIP seats: 162) 3 minutes into the match, comeback's goalkeeper Gino Van Haeght had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Van Hoeyvelt. Young Ostend United's Marcus Roggen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Meeuwissen during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Evert Meeuwissen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 minutes, Natan De Mayer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Young Ostend United and the comeback players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Young Ostend United getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Natan De Mayer hit a great ball. Gino Van Haeght showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedrik Neesens, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Natan De Mayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan Owerckx in the 28th minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Loid Gijsbrechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Young Ostend United got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Rutgeerts. Evert Meeuwissen struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Loid Gijsbrechts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for comeback. Gino Van Haeght came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Young Ostend United's Johnny Van Hoeyvelt. But to his dismay, Johnny Van Hoeyvelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Johnny Van Hoeyvelt put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gino Van Haeght. Gino Van Haeght didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Van Hoeyvelt went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sylvan Owerckx to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Young Ostend United's Cedrik Neesens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gino Van Haeght made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 59 minutes into the game, Marcus Roggen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Young Ostend United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave comeback the free kick. After 60 played minutes Young Ostend United got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Roggen. In the 63rd minute Johnny Van Hoeyvelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Van Haeght saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Cedrik Neesens made a precise shot to the right of Gino Van Haeght. comeback's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 73 minutes, Sylvan Owerckx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the comeback and the Young Ostend United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sylvan Owerckx kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Johnny Van Hoeyvelt succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Johnny Van Hoeyvelt sped through comeback's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gino Van Haeght. Johnny Van Hoeyvelt took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gino Van Haeght. Gino Van Haeght dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 88th minute Natan De Mayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Van Haeght saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes comeback got a freekick which was hit by Wouter Van Meerbek. Gino Van Haeght took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Van Hoeyvelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 94 minutes, Johnny Van Hoeyvelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young Ostend United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Van Hoeyvelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Young Ostend United had played much better football throughout.
