Kermt's Jilian Saelens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jilian Saelens stood somewhat misplaced when Johnny Van Hoeyvelt came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Johnny Van Hoeyvelt put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jilian Saelens. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnny Van Hoeyvelt in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jilian Saelens saved Kermt from getting behind. If Cedrik Neesens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedrik Neesens took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jilian Saelens. Jilian Saelens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Jilian Saelens didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Young Ostend United's Johnny Van Hoeyvelt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jilian Saelens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Van Hoeyvelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by Johnny Van Hoeyvelt from a close distance when the talented Jilian Saelens managed to make a qualified save. Kermt's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

Young Ostend United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcus Roggen in the 56th minute. Herbert Van Deuren kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kermt's zone, Johnny Van Hoeyvelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jilian Saelens came out of the goal and Johnny Van Hoeyvelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natan De Mayer in the 60th minute of play forced Kermt's goalkeeper Jilian Saelens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siebe Vinckx charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siebe Vinckx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 63 played minutes Kermt got a freekick which was hit by Siebe Vinckx. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Cedrik Neesens sped through Kermt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jilian Saelens. Cedrik Neesens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jilian Saelens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natan De Mayer's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes of play, Young Ostend United's Johnny Van Hoeyvelt made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jilian Saelens was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cedrik Neesens came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Young Ostend United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cedrik Neesens couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnny Van Hoeyvelt in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jilian Saelens saved Kermt from getting behind. 12-0 became the score in the 90th minute when Johnny Van Hoeyvelt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jilian Saelens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Van Hoeyvelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Cedrik Neesens made a precise shot to the right of Jilian Saelens. Kermt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. When the referee ended the match the Young Ostend United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
