After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Filip Van de Gaer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruddervoorde's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Van de Gaer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Michel Wans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Ruddervoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Charles-Louis Terwenhout came free, but Thibaud Camps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruddervoorde's Filip Van de Gaer got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles-Louis Terwenhout in the 20th minute of play forced Ruddervoorde's goalkeeper Thibaud Camps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ruddervoorde booed when Sleepy Soldiers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Krabbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Wans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Michel Wans didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles-Louis Terwenhout was the one to do the kick off. Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Wans having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Van de Gaer in the 56th minute of play forced Sleepy Soldiers FC's goalkeeper Michel Wans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Sleepy Soldiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Uyttebroeck to maneuver through the defense. Ruddervoorde's Kris Van Clijnebreugel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sleepy Soldiers FC. A collision led to Ruddervoorde getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Renzo Van Deyck hit a great ball. After 74 minutes of play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Dieter Tubbackx made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thibaud Camps was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77thth minute of the game Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sleepy Soldiers FC's Michel Wans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Luukas Jennis got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Filip Van de Gaer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Wans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renzo Van Deyck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Wans. Sleepy Soldiers FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ruddervoorde's Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre-Paul Van Cleynenbreugel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Wans having to make a save. Luukas Jennis charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luukas Jennis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Luukas Jennis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
