With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charl Schoovaerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charl Schoovaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoor Laureijs in the 32nd minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freek Oosters made a kick off. The supporters of Temse booed when FC wilsele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stein Reijdams didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Isidoor Laureijs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charl Schoovaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradly Bain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbe Carels in the 71st minute of play. If Freek Oosters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. FC wilsele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoor Laureijs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Isidoor Laureijs put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Charl Schoovaerts. Charl Schoovaerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoor Laureijs went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Charl Schoovaerts had great luck who in the 90thth minute grab hold of the ball when Isidoor Laureijs from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience was convinced that Isidoor Laureijs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charl Schoovaerts was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Birger De Schutter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charl Schoovaerts having to make a save. The Temse fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC wilsele were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
