After a defensive mix-up in Les Misèrables's zone, Pascal Du Sausois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier De Vlaeminck came out of the goal and Pascal Du Sausois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerrit Cappels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorre Van der Perren went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Pascal Du Sausois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmy Vinckx made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pascal Du Sausois however managed to control. Xavier De Vlaeminck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Du Sausois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minion Mim's Terry De Hoef was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xavier De Vlaeminck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jimmy Vinckx got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pascal Du Sausois. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Minion Mim. Terry De Hoef stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Xavier De Vlaeminck. 2-1. A collision led to Minion Mim getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Terry De Hoef hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Les Misèrables's Paul-Louis Van Dijcke got a free kick in the 37th minute. At last the ball reached Pascal Du Sausois at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Les Misèrables. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Jorre Van der Perren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Cappels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerrit Cappels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 75 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goal looked a bit too open when Marten Gyselinx came free, but Gerrit Cappels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerrit Cappels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marten Gyselinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Xavier De Vlaeminck made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Benoit Ooms sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minion Mim players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Les Misèrables.
