After a rather tough play, Minion Mim's Sylven Schols got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 20th minute, Oswald Van Caels made a precise shot to the right of Gerrit Cappels. Minion Mim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Du Sausois in the 24th minute of play forced KV Wanzele's goalkeeper Bob Boegaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, KV Wanzele's Oswald Van Caels made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerrit Cappels was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob Boegaert didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Minion Mim's Ignace Philippaerts shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in KV Wanzele's zone, Peter Roofhoof stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Boegaert came out of the goal and Peter Roofhoof tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Roofhoof in the 38th minute of play forced KV Wanzele's goalkeeper Bob Boegaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerrit Cappels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurend Spoelbergh in the 43rd minute of the match. Gerrit Cappels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oswald Van Caels in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Oswald Van Caels could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Gerrit Cappels however easily saved by the left post. KV Wanzele's Bob Boegaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignace Philippaerts in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bob Boegaert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Roofhoof in the 54th minute of the match. Peter Roofhoof scored 3-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bob Boegaert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bob Boegaert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Roofhoof's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Herbert Bernaerts took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerrit Cappels. Gerrit Cappels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Minion Mim's Gerrit Cappels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Van Caels in the 65th minute of play. Gerrit Cappels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Bernaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Conrad Kerckmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Cappels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswald Van Caels in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerrit Cappels saved Minion Mim from getting behind. Benoit Ooms succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-3 in the 81st playminute. After 87 minutes, Diego Rogiers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Wanzele and the Minion Mim players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diego Rogiers hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Minion Mim got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Van Den Linden. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KV Wanzele had won after a very even match.
